With the exception of the 2004 an 2005 model year Harley Edition Super Duty (F-250 & F-350 models), the Harley Edition F-150 changed nearly every model year. The revisions included both styling changes, such as paint and badging options, as well as powertrain options. In 2002, for example, a supercharged 5.4L V-8 replaced the naturally aspirated version. In 2007, a Saleen supercharged version similar to that used in the Shelby GT500 Mustang was introduced, producing 450 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. The Harley would go back to a naturally aspirated 5.4L shortly thereafter, and the 400+ horsepower 6.2L V-8 would find its way into the unique F-150 shortly before its retirement.
