Ford 3.7L Ti-VCT V-6

3.7L Ti-VCT V-6 Engine Specs

The 3.7L Ti-VCT V-6 was added to the F-150's available engines for the 2011 model year. With just over 300 horsepower, Ford's new V-6 was significantly more powerful than previous generation six cylinder engines (excluding the turbocharged EcoBoost platform). The 3.7L was an attractive option for truck buyers who required greater fuel economy and accepted lower performance/capability than that offered by the EcoBoost or one of Ford's V-8s. The engine was surprisingly replaced by a smaller, less powerful 3.5L Ti-VCT V-6 for the 2015 model year.
