Featured Concepts, SVT Models, & Special Edition F-150
Who knew Ford's SVT Raptor would have been such a huge hit? Introduced for the 2010 model year, the 1st Gen Raptor enjoyed little competition and plenty of interest through the course of its production. Ford is obviously pleased with the Raptor sales performance, as an updated model was introduced in 2017 featuring an all aluminum body and High Output EcoBoost engine.
The 1st Generation Ford SVT Lightning was introduced for the 1993 model year featuring a modified version of the standard F-150's 351W V-8 and a sport tuned suspension. Retired after 1995, the Lightning model would be on hiatus until its reintroduction in 1999.

The official NASCAR edition Ford F-150 was only available for the 1998 model year, celebrating the 50th year of NASCAR stock car racing and Ford's 5 year contract as the "Official Truck of NASCAR". The fact that only 3,000 units were produced make this special edition model somewhat of a rarity.
The NF-155 was a short-lived, special edition Ford F-150 commissioned by apparel manufacturer No Fear and customized by the now defunct Roll-a-Long. Only 155 of the No Fear commemorative units were officially produced between the 2002 and 2003 model years.
Ford Motor Company produced several versions of the Harley Edition F-150 between the 2000 and 2012 model years, including several desirable platforms powered by a supercharged 5.4L V-8.
Ford's ATLAS concept was unveiled in 2013, and although the truck never made it to the production phase, it obviously served as a means to test consumer reaction to many styling features that would later influence the redesigned, all aluminum 2015 model year F-150.
